Jim Carlson received the 2008 Middle Level Art Educator Award from the Art Educators of Minnesota.  Jim was chosen for his exceptional advocacy and leaderhip in art education with his involvement in Empty Bowl, the districtwide art show, and various service learning projects.  (click here for more accomplishments)
